01 Who I am

LeVar Coaching — a division of LeVar Holdings, founded and run by Torland Charles — is the "data controller" for the information you share here. In plain terms, that means I decide what is collected and why, and I'm responsible for keeping it safe.

02 What information I collect

Information you give me directly

When you fill out the contact form, I collect your name, your email address, the coaching option you're interested in, and whatever you choose to write in your message. If we go on to work together, I may keep notes and details that are relevant to your coaching.

Information collected automatically

This is a simple website. It uses only the essential cookies needed to display pages correctly. It does not run advertising or cross-site tracking. If that ever changes, I'll ask for your consent first and update this page.

03 Why I collect it, and my legal basis

Under GDPR I need a lawful reason to use your data. Mine are:

• Consent — when you tick the box and send the contact form, you're agreeing to me using those details to reply to you.
• Legitimate interests — running a small coaching practice and responding to genuine inquiries.
• Performance of a contract — if you become a client, using your details to deliver the coaching you've asked for.

I use your information to respond to your message, to arrange and deliver coaching, to keep records I'm required to keep, and to keep this site working and secure.

04 How your information is handled & who I share it with

I keep the data I hold to a minimum, and I share it only where it's needed to run the practice:

• Form delivery. The contact form is delivered to my inbox by FormSubmit, a third-party form-relay service. Your submission passes through their systems to reach me.
• Email. Your message lives in my email provider's system so I can read it and reply.

I never sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. Any provider I rely on is expected to protect your information and use it only to provide their service to me.

05 How long I keep it

I keep inquiry messages only as long as I need them to respond and, where it's relevant, to stay in touch about coaching. Client records are kept for the length of our work together and for a reasonable period afterward, for legitimate business and legal reasons. When I no longer need your data, I delete it — and you can ask me to delete it sooner.

06 Your rights under GDPR

You have real control over your data. You have the right to:

To exercise any of these, just email coaching@levarcoaching.com. It's free, and I'll respond within one month. If you're in the EU or UK and believe I've mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, that's the ICO).

07 Cookies

This site uses only the essential cookies needed to load and display correctly. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If I ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, I'll ask for your consent before they run and update this notice. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

08 Where your data is processed

I coach clients both in person and virtually, and some of the tools I use — like the form-relay and email providers — may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, I rely on those providers' safeguards for protecting your data in line with GDPR.

09 Children

This site and my coaching are meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me their details, email me and I'll delete them right away.

10 Changes to this notice

If I change how I handle your data, I'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Where a change is significant, I'll make it clear.
